Abstract

In this brief article, Silvio and Herbert, C3’s editors, informally discuss the implications of emerging technologies like ChatGPT, diffusionmodels and text-to-image algorithms for design and architecture. The aim of this article is to present some unstructured thoughtson architecture and technology to foster some debate around this very timely topic. The conversation starts from labour and theautomatic generation of contents, and concludes with a more generalised discussion on the role of AI in architecture and urban design.
